Wow, It's Been Some Time Since...

wow, i haven't blogged in some time
so...yea...
lately, life has been pretty good
especially this past weekend
saturday and sunday were pretty good for me

saturday was praise team practice and it ended kind of early, which was pretty good

sunday was outdoor service
it was a lot of fun
i got to play ultimate frisbee for the first time
it's actually kind of easy
but anyways, after outdoor service, we went to virgil's house to see how he was doing

monday was kind of weird for me
i was laying on my bed and i was thinking to myself, should i pick up my arm or not (because one time my arm fell asleep so when i picked it up, it fell back down)
but anyways, back to the story...
lolz
i jumped up, out of my sleep and was like, what time is it
i thought it was after 8 or something
so i ran into the living room and i saw that it was only 6:20
i was about to say
and then, i looked outside my window and it was raining so i was thinking like are we still going to the aquarium and coney island?
but it turned out that we did go
while we were there, we had a lot of fun
i got to bond with people from church
and even after we left coney island, i got to bond with easter, curtis and jack
the things that they were talking about and the way they were talking made me realize that i need to work on my communication skills and that i'm kind of dumb xP
but it's ok***notice the sarcasm***

Happy Birthday To Me = )

whoohooooooo, tomorrow's my birthday!!!
i'm going to be legal
lolz
even though i'm turning 18, i still feel like a 14 year old
life is going by waaaayy too fast

although tomorrow is my birthday, i know it's going to seem like any other day...
i get to have cake and ice cream though ; )
as an early birthday present, i got a touch screen camera from my mom
i like it a lot

aside from the camera, what i really want is to have some kind of celebration
thinking about it now is kind of saddening because i know that there won't be any kind of a real celebration for another year = (

but i'll see how it goes

this blog post doesn't have a title because i didn't feel like putting one
right now, i'm just really thinking
and one of the things that i'm wondering is how can someone who is so smart be so slow?

i just saw something that i don't think i should have seen
and it really pissed me off
maybe that's God's way of telling me something
but idk...

and aside from being pissed off, another thing that i'm thinking about is a conversation/argument that my friend and i had yesterday
the basis of the conversation/argument was that a mutual friend of ours said that she got over a guy that she supposedly liked because he didn't seem interested in her
this friend of ours said that she was over him in like 2 days
my side of the discussion was that if she truly liked this guy, she wouldn't have been able to get over him in just 2 days
and my friend was saying that if he didn't like her back then she should, and has every right, to get over him
but i feel that yea, she has a right to get over him, but at the same time, how do you just get over someone in just 2 days?
now if she would have said that she was growing feelings for this guy or just thought he was attractive or something like that, then i would have understood and been ok with it
but honestly, i feel like that's just wrong
and since the conversation/argument was going nowhere and another mutual friend and i weren't able to get it through their heads, i just said that we should just change the topic

but anyways...today is saturday and i'm trying to decide whether i should go to the nursery home practice today or not
i kind of don't want to go because i want to stay home and relax
and aside from relaxing, i have other stuff to do
so yea...i'll just see what happens
i might just miss the practice and then go to church later for praise team practice
but sadly, there's someone that i don't even want to see today =/
but oh well, gotta suck it up and do me

i can't wait to see what's in store for me today

Camp Deer Park

this week, so far, it was a blessing
we went to deer park on monday and came back yesterday, wednesday
i really wish the retreat was longer, but it's alright

while we were there, we had fun
but most importantly, we did QTs with our bible study groups and had great fellowship with each other

the first day we arrived, aaron, rebekah and i made a "scary" movie
it was hilarious
i got to be the "white girl", rebekah was the zombie and aaron was the person with me
lolz
there were so many contradictions in it which made the "movie" funny

but anyways, i'm glad that i went this time
i didn't go last year, so that was my first time
i can't wait to go again next time

last night, before we came back home, we went to church and hung out alittle bit
kelley, rebekah, marissa and i played volleyball
then, kenny sui drove jp and i to jp's house
to our surprise, joan and bruce were there
so we all just chillaxed there
i finally got to see jp's room
it looks really cool and unique

but anyways, while we were leaving, a wooden stick came out of nowhere and fell into my wrist
and now it's swollen
but it's alright
i have ice on it, so the swelling is going down
i'm going to get me something to drink

Legit Stat

ugh, i don't even want to retype all of this over again
ugh!
stupid me!

but anyways, basically yesterday (monday), i stayed home because i had the illest headache that came out of nowhere
and i'm kind of glad that i stayed home though

and honestly, i feel bad for hitting jp on sunday
not to make excuses, but i was really pissed off and since i know that he's one in a few that can take my hits....yea

as he said "that wasn't nice"

and i agree

today it was really nice outside
until it started raining
stupid rain >.<
hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow
or if it does, hopefully i'll have an umbrella =P

Fast And The Furious

this past week went by really fast
that's where the "fast" in the title comes from
the "furious" was added just because it sounds cool =P
lolz

ok so anyways...my week was pretty good
it went by really fast which made it even better

so, starting from sunday night...a few of us(aaron, marissa, easter, joan and i) went to visit gloria
while we were at her house, we chillaxed and had fun
and later that night, i got to talk to G = )


nothing special happened on monday
except, i had to read like 8 or 9 chapters of a book called "ordinary people" for english
at first, i thought it was and confusing
but after reading those 8 or 9 chapters, i actually thought it was interesting (but still confusing but that's what we have teachers for right =P


so...tuesday...i took the test in english
it was really easy
all i had to do was go to class everyday
i didn't even have to read >.>
but i guess it's good that i did though
that night, i wanted a guy to talk to, so i decided to text G and see how he was doing
so i texted him and asked him how his day was going and we talked from there


wednesday is a blur for me
so when i remember, i'll post it
lolz


thursday, my health teacher brought in a movie called "philadelphia"
it's about a guy(tom hanks) who gets fired because he has aids
there is a lawyer(denzel washington) who at first doesn't even want to take his case
but toward the middle, he represents him in court

on friday, i got the test that i took in english back
i got 102 on it
if i didn't get one wrong, i could have gotten 104
but it's fine, i still got passed 100 =P

at night, i wasn't planning on coming to church because my mom said that she was going to the movies for her birthday
so i wanted to hang out with her because we barely hang out
instead,  because demetri said that he needed me to sing for him and since i wasn't sure if my mom was still going or not i ended up going to church
i was kind of rushing to be there at 5, so i forgot my discipleship book
but discipleship was funny


yesterday, saturday, i was planning on going to the survey thing
but i didn't go because i felt that i was going to be at church too late
so instead, i decided to just go to church for NWB(new wave band) practice
while i was at home, i saw that a cardio work out video was on, so i decided to start working out
since it was a dancing workout, i was dancing with it
it was so tiring but i was dancing to tina turner(whoo!)
i was waiting for the bus and jp called and said that he would drive me instead
so...instead of taking the bus, jp drove me to church

when we got to church, we did QTs(quiet times)
and afterward, we practiced but technically, it was a "real" practice, we did random songs
but it was fun
praise team practice was fun as usual




today, sunday, i can't wait to see what God has in store for me
i hope we will all be convicted by the spirit
especially because i have basically a solo part with rebekah
i'm kind of nervous
but it's all for God = )

G Status!

this week is going pretty good for me = )
at first, i didn't feel like going to school on monday, but i'm glad i did
i got to hang out with my awesome friend, anita at lunch
while i was on my way home, i started thinking about G and a conversation that we had
so i went to fb on my phone and i saw a conversation that we had like a while ago
i really liked that conversation because it made me smile, so i decided to text him and see how he was doing
the conversation that we had made me happy
at 8, PLL(pretty little liars) came on = )
it was mad good!
that's me and anita's show right there(we're PLL buddies <3)

but anyways...tuesday wasn't as interesting as monday
but it did go by kind of fast though(which is a good thing)

today, i was alittle late to school because of the stupid mta
idk why they come whenever they want
today, the 17 came mad early so it left like 5 seconds before i got there
stupid bus driver >.>
even though i was alittle late, i still went to breakfast because i was hungry, so oh well...


omgosh, i am so proud of myself today, but of course all glory to God
so anyways...today, i had a test in economics
my friend in the class texted me all the multiple choice answers and i didn't even use it
instead of cheating, what i did was, i used it to see if i got any of the questions incorrect
i did...i got 2 wrong, but i left it like that =P
thanks to prayer, that test was mad easy


i have another test (probably 2 more) on friday
since i don't study for tests, i hope that i do good on them
hopefully they'll be somewhat easy
i have a test in english on a book that i read like 3 chapters out of (i think) 9 or 10
(why do i dislike reading so much?)
the only book that i have a passion to read is my favorite (tears of a tiger <3)
but anyways, i think i have another test in business math
i don't even know what it's going to be on
but hopefully tomorrow can be a prep day for me
i can't wait until friday
i want to chillax with my church family
hopefully tomorrow will be interesting and fun
and hopefully the bus won't come mad early again

P.S. the mta really sucks, i need a car =/

Summary Of My Interesting Week

this week was pretty good

i feel that the weather really had an affect on the way this week went

it was really nice outside and even the buses came on time =P

starting from monday(valentines day) to now, i was/am happy
on monday, i got to talk to "G" again and that made my day
i learned something new about him that was really interesting and kind of unexpected, but yea... haha

(it was weird how "G" was tired on monday and how he somehow passed it on to me the next day), although i was tired on tuesday, blasting praise/worship songs really helped me to wake up
i was actually able to stop procrastinating and read my bible and do my QTs this week(yay me = ), glory to God of course <3)

on wednesday, the guidance counselors went to classes and started talking about bullying, how it affects people and what we can do to prevent it
cammy's guidance counselor was in my class
i love his eyes, they're like a caramel color,sorry, that was random...=P
lolz
but anyways, he showed a video about bullying that included a couple of letters from kids before they committed suicide because they were bullied
as he read them, chills ran through my body
i felt so bad for them
by the way, may they rest in peace
the guidance counselor's also gave out wrist bands that had words on them
i took the one that said faith on it = )

yesterday, my english class had a debate on a book (the stranger)where we had to say whether the character in the book should be guilty of cold blooded murder or innocent
i was on the prosecuting side and i had to go up against one of the guys(the defendant)  in my class
somehow i won ***surprised***
i didn't even read the book or know what i was talking about, but that's why it helps to have good team mates = )
i finally finished my study guides for english last night (whoo hoo!)

today, we did the debate thing again and two other people went up against each other and somehow, once again, the prosecuting side (my side) won
the score was 3 to 0
haha, too bad for them =p
but anyways, i went to see my guidance counselor and i asked her if i could take a night class to make up my government credit from last term and she said yes
so i'll have a night class now, but it's better than having to go to summer school =/
i'm going to church later
i can't wait to see what tonight has in store for me
hopefully more blessings...

This Past Week

well, this past week was interesting, depressing and made me happy
(not necessarily in that order though)
i felt like this past week has brought me closer to a certain person that i really care about ("G"), but at the same time made me alittle depressed
i had the opportunity of texting "G" on tuesday, which made me happy, but it also brought me down
for those who know who "G" is, and know my situation know the reason why
although our conversation was okay, it wasn't exactly what i wanted it to be like
"G" and i had another text conversation on thursday, but it wasn't really anything special, so that also brought me down again
i feel like it is truly time for me to hand this situation over to God, but this is a challenge for me
although i try to give God all of the control, i feel like my controlling nature is getting in the way of that

now, about today...
i saw "G" today and it made me happy and alittle nervous
whenever i see him,i get surprised (like that pushed back type of feeling) and i smile inside
before, it used to be way worse, but only the people that were around me at that time saw what that was like (by the way...it wasn't pretty ***no bueno***)
when he left today, i tried not to think about it, so i went to practice the drums (yay to practice! = ) )

Awesome Friends (Gloria and Rebekah)

so...last night, i stayed at gloria and rebekah's house with jhanelle
we watched a movie(legend of the guardians) and it was really good
me and rebekah dozed off before the ending, but it's fiiine >.>
today's a new day, so i can't wait to see what God has in store for us = )
